When Love Met Hope

If I am Love and you my Hope
Could Hope put trust in Love
And if this could be
Could Hope then learn to love
A storm, an ocean, even a wall couldn’t bring the two apart
Even in fact this may occur could Love find Hope in her heart
If Love then met Deceit
Who was sneaky, slick, and sly
She always got her way
And she always got the guy
So one day Deceit met Hope
And had her fingers crossed
She told their little secret
And Love thought Hope was lost
Love then called her friend
Who said just to believe
The one thing we all knew for sure
Her Hope would never leave

Actually, now that I think about it. I think Bronwyn wrote this for me when I was sad over a certain someone.
