Julian marketplace:

For those that need a recap of the cathedral factories:
Spoiler:
The Cathedral Factories of IXium: In the early days of the Monastery Clan, they set out into space in immense basestars, towering Kilometers into the sky and floating on anti graviton rings up into high orbit over earth. The greatest of these was Fortress City 9 (IX). The citizens, after hundreds of years called themselves, niners, and subsequently a youth trend swept the city of calling it IX (icks). Eventually the city became so large, several asteroids were tractored in and several ships dismantled to create a hodgepodge menagerie of decentralized systems and eventually the first cathedral factory.
The cathedral drydock/tankyards are sacred ground to the Monastery and add to the seemingly religious fervor with which they build the damn things. Each one is unique and many parts are hand built meaning Cathedral repair or reverse engineering is practically impossible to even other Monestary cities.
IXium became a hub for commerce when it gained full control on its orbit round the earth. In deep space zero G, it was possible to synthesize exotic alloys, precious metals, virtual particles, and other things not otherwise possible in the burden of earth gravity. The IXium descends to sub orbital levels several times a year to hold festivals, celebrating with massive sales and parties. The city dips so low its outer areas get a somewhat breathable atmosphere and the extremely daring can find some salespeople even on the outside! Indeed the best parts can often be obtained from these nutty merchants. Space is a premium during the festivals and there are people and mechs everywhere. The festival is a chance to get all sorts of things done. Whether the Harbinger impound lot auction, the Monastery game and tech convention, The Brutus physical arts display (I hear they sell lessons too), The McGuiver invention festival, or the Kypris exotic weapons workshop (they claim all items are grey market at worst but some seem to skirt the law. With so many during the festival there's nothing stopping them anyway) there's something for everyone.
The city's architecture is a slew of several design styles from post modern/ art deco, to a neoclassical cathedral style with transparent metals used as feaux stained glass. There's always new contruction and there is scaffolding and exposed superstructure all the time giving the city's general aesthetic a steamtech industrial look. The mech contruction yards make it clear that the Monastery are not afraid to blend form with function. Even the contruction robots look like sculptured works of art and reflect various facets of Monestary society from the austere to the whacky.
The city's mass has increased so much that the zero g synthesis rooms aren't really zero G anymore! As a result the finest zero g alloys and materials were created long in IXium's past and much of the technique from that time has since been lost.. Even now however; a traveling stranger will set up shop with an item that may just be something more than it seems.

The Grand Public Exchange Hex of IXium Centrality: Near the center of IX Centrality, the city within the city of IXium itself, lies a place that was once the dock where large pieces of ships, mechs, and the oldest parts of the city itself were once assembled. This has long since grown defunct for that purpose but it now serves as the Public Exchange. Wares can be freely traded and purchased here. The floor is a maze of shops and machinery of all types. There are mechs and ships parked everywhere. Space is a premium and most people wait years for consideration for a permanent merchant's license in the Exchange (which reputedly costs more per year than some combat mechs). The Exchange has elevators, walkways, and public railcars to exit to get to most other parts of the station. Its far end opens to a docking bay where ships drop off new wares or wait for space to open up in the crowded landing area. It is patrolled religiously by a specialized Harbinger force from space and a Brutus force on ground who ensure no unauthorized entry or disputes occur.
The architecture is dominated by a steampunk, industrial appearance with many overhead walkways and railcars going by. The floor itself still has many of the old Julian markings used to denote the roads to machines and assembly lines long gone.

Natalie's Shop:
Location: Public Exchange Hex, Ix Centrality
Shopkeep: Natalie Charone [Monestary]
Assistants: None at this time

Items available: None at this time

Merchant Description: Natalie is a girl in her mid 20s with purple eyes and brown hair. she wears the brown leather epaulette bearing Colonel's jacket of a mech pilot which displays the City badge of Ixium as well as a dozen other seals from other cities qualifying her as an honorary member of their mech squadrons. She wears a somewhat counter practical knee high pants and sneakers instead of the usual longer more protective standard mech piloting gear pants and boots.
She has an air of exhaustion about her.. but it's not from the work of the day, but almost as if she's tired about someting in her past. It's clear she's pretty laid back and she doesn't look like she' s gonna fly mechs into battle any time soon. Very much a low pressure gal.

The Mech at the shop: Last Dancer

Description: Last Dancer is the combination of an Andrasta class picket fighter and half of a Dunemaster class medium mech transport. It is a transforming fighter/bipedal mech. It can be found taking up the space above the shop. Its weapons are hidden behind gunports for the sake of decency/modesty. However it can be inferred that the vessel is heavily armed and armored judging from the many battle scars and rows of kill markers on the side of the cockpit.
