To prevent roll dice cheaters, there are three ways to do it.

1. disable HTML

2. disable

3. or you can simply watch out for things similar to:

or we can just have players use the diceroll at the bottom of their 'reply to post' page in which it makes Joseph's account roll for them

Bleh, other people can use it. I'm gonna stick to [roll="DICE ROLL"]4[/roll] Hey, I just thought of something. Why don't people put their rolls in their own posts? Why does the GM have to roll?

To prevent cheating...

Because it's the GM's responsibility to make fair and accurate dice rolls. If you don't trust your GM to make these rolls you'll just end up fighting with each other anyway over who rerolled/cheated on what. It is ultimately your GM's decision how they want the game to flow. If one REALLY doesn't like your rolls its up to them if they want to reroll it just to keep the story on track or ignore the results entirely. This is standard fare for all RPGs. If you feel your GM is a dick. Say so and why. If you're unhappy with them, stop playing. It's the player's responsibility to indicate if they are not having fun. What difference does it make who carries out the rolls. It's easier if the GM unanimously carries them out anyway. The only problem I see is if they don't update.
