Does anyone own a memory wiping device?

I don't know why, but I read a sentence from the last page of Lord of the Flies and it contained a gigantic spoiler.

but you might end up retarded
and long term effects includes:
short and long term memory loss
loss of motorskills
cesures
foaming of the mouth
loss of sences
heart problems
scitsofenia
death
and in rare cases even canablinsm

then there is also an alternative
the "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" way

but that leaves you with mild confusion
and can lead to depression
then also when the company closes down you will be told what you erased
making it utterly pointless

Then there is the two ways they did it in "Paycheck"
first through burning the memories away with a laser

that can lead to a mild fever and possible death but no long term affects

the second way you cant do because its too late
before you have the memory we insert a nano chip into your head and then track you your brains memory function from there

leaving you with no side affects except a bad movie

then there is the total recall way

the just destroy you memory and give you a new one
but the side effects are: things can trigger you memory


Then we can drop you from a building but you might die and be left with a massive deformity

so which one would you like
