I was always curious about this. They always said one answer showed optimism, while the other showed pessimistic views.

Actually, it differs for me. For most days, it's half-empty. Other days, it's half-full. I look at it from different angles.

Not really. Some people successfully hide a pessimistic nature behind a smile. I can think of a few people, but I'm not naming anyone.
