Sups, recently funimation released a new Fullmetal Alchemist series which will follow the manga's storyline unlike the previous one. This means they are starting from scratch from the beginning.

About time. I didn't like the anime's storyline and diversion from the manga.

For starters Bradley is Wrath not Pride. Sloth does not look like Ed's mom, Ed dpes not go to our universe, and the plot goes way longer than the original anime's plot.

I believe it's called "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood". He's already got a few episodes, I think, as well.

I know.. and it completely pwnzorschrecks the anime series. Way, way better. It's so much better then the stupid shit they show on Adult Swim. I personally hate anime/sort of manga, but since I liked the manga, I actually enjoy this series.

some of the heavy hitter animes such as naruto, bleach, and one piece are actually pretty close to the manga

Yeah, Naruto comes pretty close, but what made me stop watching Naruto was the 100 episodes of filler. >_>

yeah if you like naruto i do suggest you read the manga
in the anime version he is such a panzi
but in the manga he is awesome

Yeah, I spent this whole summer getting back into Naruto. Storyline's gotten a little more out of comprehension, but it's better than the anime, to say the least.

Oh jeez I've fallen out of date with the Naruto series. I used to be such a fanboy about the series too (DNA knows).

Also, this is a bit old but Halo is also getting an Anime of its own. A bunch of legendary animation houses are collaborating on it.

And it's so awesome that they have Toei and Bones.
The quality is going to be awesome if the studios are any indication.

Steve Downes will ALWAYS voice the Chief. I'm sure they'll cryogenically freeze him when he ages even more, just to assure he can keep voicing Master Chief. But also, whoever voiced Ian in Halo Wars sounded cool too. Maybe that guy would be good.

Hey, yeah, I know this topic is kinda Halo anime now, but I just wanted to tell y'all that over here, Brotherhood plays on Animax at the same time it does in Japan.

I also started finishing the normal anime series.. I HATE IT SO MUCH! THE MANGA IS SO MUCH FUCKING BETTER. THE ANIME SERIES IS SHITE. :sulk:
