How to Play

If you're in a situation like Joseph who has no one to play with in the city he usually resides, or if you're like me and just like playing every minute of every day with different people, this is a good way to get in some good games of MTG without having any human contact whatsoever!

Before the game you declare the game type you want to play. Most likely, a lot of these games will just be casual but I'm sure there will be a few times when someone will want to play a certain format, such as standard, extended, modern, commander, or archenemy. After choosing an appropriate deck, you shuffle your library and draw your starting seven. Then you declare in your post whether you take a mulligan or not. Then you guys decide who goes first (There are dice built into the forum, so you can do it that way pretty easily). So the first person does their play and then writes it as their post, and at the end putting in parentheses amount of life and cards left in hand.

So for example, a first turn with my bant conscription deck would be

Play Seaside Citadel tapped. Pass the turn. (20/6)

Or something a little more complex on turn one might be

Play chrome mox exiling nothing, play black lotus, tap black lotus, sacrifice, add three blue. Use three blue to play tinker. Sacrifice chrome mox. Search my library and play darksteel colossus. Play mountain. Tap mountain, cast lightning bolt aimed at you for 3. Pass turn. (20/2)
