Hah lucky. I seriously need to get out the house more, I'm getting rustier by the second. I've even got a new concept for a deck I wanna work out, but I can't get the cards for it.

Speaking of, do you still have that Malakir Bloodwitch you got from the vamps starter back in March? I think Andrew's interested in it

Yeah, I still got it. If he wants it I could trade for it, I'm not using it.

Yeah, he'll be happy to hear that. He's revamping his vamps (<- lulz). I'll let him know tomorrow.

Dude, my deck ideas are seriously lacking. Like some of them are interesting but they have serious holes in them -.-

I think I'm just gonna buy like a fat pack and the deckbuilder's toolkit online to get some ideas. Cus I'm blanking out terribly.

lol. It happens. Today Chester Andrew and I played a three way mono-colored game with Chester going burn, Andrew going vamps, and me going trample. They stalled me hard early game by killing off all my elves, but once I got 6 lands it was basically over. Terra Stomper turn 6, Terra Stomper Turn 7, Lightning Elemental Turn 8. On turn 9 I double vines of vastwooded Lightning Elemental for +8/+8 and swung at Chester (who had 15 life, a wall of fire, Chandra and a tapped keldon marauders) with the Lightning Elemental(14/14) and a Terra Stomper(8/8 ) for 22, and the other Terra Stomper at Andrew (who had a bunch of little vamps. I think it was vampire nocturnus, a hexmage, a guul draaz bloodghast and a lacerator [none of which were pumped and flying because he had a land on top]). Andrew would have survived for one more turn with a bloodghast still in tact (which was really no threat to me with 9 life left anyway) but then before Chester died, he killed Chandra to deal one damage to Andrew and kill him off (Andrew had 1 life). And that was game. My next card was a blanchwood armor, and I had 8 lands.

Hah wow, sounds like a good game. I got an Eldrazi fat pack, and my luck is terrible. -____- On a bright note, I opened one pack and I got a foil rare, which I forgot what it was. I'll get back to you on what it was.

But if anything, I have the cards I need for a new deck now. So I'm gonna wanna hit Emerald soon.

And Emerald sounds like a good idea. I won't be around for FNM this Friday though. But hopefully I'll be able to make the prerelease on Sunday

Yeah I know, the only rares that stuck out to me were Echo Mage, It That Betrays and Near-Death Experience, which are all fun cards but I wouldn't be able to use any of them in any decks I'm planning (except maybe Near-Death Experience, since my inner Johnny started crying when it saw that card).

And alright, I don't think I can make it for FNM again. I'd kill to be at the prerelease. I might be able to persuade my parents and sisters to go watch a movie while I'm over there, that way I wouldn't have to leave halfway through a game like last time -___-

But awesomesauce, I fleshed out two deck ideas last night, and I'm gonna get the cards once I find access to a credit card (or Legacy ). Once I get everything i need, I wanna go up against people with them.

okay so it's really based on the honor system, but really, the only person whose play experience you're harming if you cheat is yourself, so it's not very advisable lol.

But yeah, you shuffle your deck and all that, and draw your seven IRL. Then you declare in your post whether you take a mulligan or not. Then you guys decide who goes first. So the first person does their play and then writes it as their post, and at the end putting in parentheses amount of life and cards left in hand.

So for example, a first turn with my bant conscription deck would be

Play Seaside Citadel tapped. Pass the turn. (20/6)

Or something a little more complex on turn one might be

Play chrome mox exiling nothing, play black lotus, tap black lotus, sacrifice, add three blue. Use three blue to play tinker. Sacrifice chrome mox. Search my library and play darksteel colossus. Play mountain. Tap mountain, cast lightning bolt aimed at you for 3. Pass turn. (20/2)

Okay, totally doable. I'll set up a whole new board for this. I'm lowkey excited man
