I'd write stupid shit for no reason: I'd write dates of people's death that were before the present. I'd write my own date of death millions of years after. I'd do things like write in pencil, erase and write another date, and the same with causes of death. Speaking of causes of death- I'd write something to the effect of ~ dies from being ejected from a cannon on top of an office building and is cut in half by a passing airplane and before they can die, their upper torso is hit by a flaming shoryuken by Ryu from Streetfighter.

Unless they were alive, nothing will happen. If you tried to kill someone who is alive by writing a past date, they will simply die of a heart attack or whatever cause you specified as long as it is valid.

That wouldn't work because the purpose of a Death Note is to shorten the lives of humans. It's better to write that you die of a natural Death 1 second before the end of your lifespan because if a name is written in more than one Death Note, the cause specified in the first Death Note that the name was written in will occur.

Erasing pencil doesn't work. You have to cross out the things you want to erase with two straight horizontal lines.

Because of this rule:

In the occasion where the cause of death is possible but the situation is not, only the cause of death will take effect for that victim. If both the cause and the situation are impossible, that victim will die of heart attack.

Your victim will die of a heart attack since Ryu is a fictional character
